Shelfie the shelf
Hold your phone up to the Kallax. One shot covers a whole cube.
One photo of your shelf. We read every box and hand back a real, searchable list of what you own (yes, even the indie stuff buried sideways behind Catan). Filter by player count, designer, weight. The way BoardGameGeek wishes you could browse your own shelf.

Indie boxes and small-press art get a yellow band. Two taps clean them up.

Search, sort by weight, filter by player count, spot duplicates. BGG metadata in tow.
The first time a friend says "want to play something light for four?" and you answer in five seconds instead of squinting at the Kallax for ten minutes, you realize you never had a collection. You had a closet.
Now you have a collection.

When 'how many do you own?' is a punchline. Built for serious shelves.

Short answer: yes. Spine recognition treats small-press boxes the same way it treats Stonemaier. Anything it cannot resolve gets a yellow band and a two-tap fix. The rest of the metadata comes in from BoardGameGeek.
Each box is its own row. Link expansions to the base game from the detail screen, or leave them separate. Your call (and yes, that does mean you can finally count Spirit Island as one shelf or seventeen, depending on the day).
CSV import is on the roadmap. For now, the fastest path is a Kallax photo, because most BGG exports forget the boxes you actually shelved sideways.
Photograph the side that shows. Add anything missing in two taps. We have yet to meet a shelf that beat the workflow.
BGG is the database. Shelfie is what you actually own. Different problem, different answer.
